A temporary, patient-directed clinical share.
A patient can create a short-lived read-only view of patient-entered information. It is not a verified medical record, does not replace intake or clinical judgment, and does not create durable clinic access.
Current sharing workflow
Patient shares. Recipient reviews and verifies.
Patient shares
They tap Share in their app. A temporary QR code appears on their phone.
Your staff scans
A recipient scans with a phone or tablet and opens a temporary browser view labeled as patient-entered and unverified.
Access expires
After three minutes, Jillybean stops serving the link. The recipient may still retain information already viewed, copied, photographed, printed, or saved.
Provider portal concepts—not active features
Temporary clinical view
Available now as a short-lived read-only share that must be verified with the patient.
Patient messaging
Planned. Secure provider-to-patient messages are not active in the current release.
Leave clinical notes
Planned. Recipients cannot currently create durable notes in a patient's passport.
Staff seats
Planned. Clinic accounts, staff roles, and durable permissions are not active.
Security groundwork
Encrypted transport, expiring sessions, and audit trails are built into the provider workflow.
Recipient copies remain possible
Expiry stops future Jillybean access; it cannot erase screenshots, notes, emails, prints, or information a recipient saved.

Usability study required
Jillybean has not established a time-savings claim. The synthetic pilot will measure whether clinicians can find critical information quickly and understand that it is patient-entered.
Help us improve provider handoffs
Practicing clinicians can review the patient-directed sharing flow and send comments about information order, terminology, and comprehension. Patient-entered information must still be verified.
